PARCsecurity provides a framework for managing user permissions throughout dataPARC applications. Users, computers, and groups are assigned to roles that determine what actions users are allowed to perform.
When PARCsecurity is enabled it replaces the old password-based system. With PARCsecurity, dataPARC applications will require logins. Logins can be based on either a username or the computer running the application. This document describes how to interact with PARCsecurity within PARCview.
