Logbook Display Config

Right-clicking on an entry and selecting Properties from the drop down menu opens the Logbook Display Config window.

Logbook Colors: This section allows the user to change the colors of the various columns in the entry.

Display Settings: The following settings are no longer supported in PARCview: Disallow Close, Popup Topmost, Open On New/Modified, and Update Rate.

Display Password: If configuration of display passwords is enabled, this setting restricts users from modifying the Logbook.

If no password has been set, clicking Create opens a prompt to enter and confirm the password. Passwords must be at least four characters long.

If a password has been set, clicking Change opens a prompt to enter the old password or the System Configuration password, and then enter and confirm the new password.

Clear removes the password.

This feature still applies when PARCsecurity is enabled.

Default Status: Sets a default status for all new entries in the Logbook. This setting overrides the Default Status setting in the Manage Log Status Window.
