Data requests from dataPARC applications are made to an HDA server. The HDA server can be remote or local to the user’s PC. Each Data Source can point to the same or different HDA servers. The default addresses are configured in System Configuration. If an address is specified in HDA Overrides, it will override the default. This is most often used when a test is done to see if a locally configured HDA performs differently than a remote HDA.
•Location.Source: The data source that is being configured with an override address.
•URL: The address of the HDA server that will service data requests from this location.source.
o A typical Local address is “opchda://localhost/ctc.opchda.1”
o A typical Remote address is “gtcphda://servername/ctc.opchda.1”
