The HDA Advanced tab contains options regarding how the local HDA Server loads.
•Auto Start Local HDA Server: Some older PC’s take a long time to load components when a display is shown after starting PARCview. Checking this box will load the components when PARCview initially starts up. This improves the speed when the first display is loaded. It does not improve load time the second time a display is loaded because the components are already in memory.
